Licenses and Credits
Last updated: 26 October 2026
This page lists the third-party work used on velquaria.com and how our own work is licensed.
Our software
Velquaria Forge and Velquaria Studio will be released under the Functional Source License 1.1 with Apache 2.0 future license (FSL-1.1-ALv2): the source is available and you can use, change and share it for any purpose except a competing product, and each version becomes open source under the Apache License 2.0 two years after its release. Each release ships with its own license file and a list of the third-party components it includes; that file is the one that applies.

All fonts used on this site are self-hosted and licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which allows commercial use. Full text and copyright notices: fonts-OFL.txt.

Fonts inside our products
The ebooks, guides and picture books made with Velquaria Forge and Velquaria Studio embed fonts in their PDFs. They are licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 (the ones below) or, for Permanent Marker (Font Diner, Inc.) and Special Elite (Astigmatic), the Apache License 2.0; both allow embedding in documents that are sold; the copyright notices below come from the font files themselves.

Open-source projects we mention
- Strata — the engine Velquaria Forge uses to run large mixture-of-experts models from RAM. By its own authors, MIT license: github.com/Niko1221/Strata.
- Benchmarks on this site compare against llama.cpp and Ollama, and the app works with models such as Qwen, Gemma and Mistral. Each is distributed under its own license by its authors; we do not redistribute them on this site.
AI-generated content
Parts of the texts, illustrations, narration and videos on this site and in our editions were generated with artificial intelligence and reviewed by a human. The illustrations of our first storybook editions were made with GLM (Z.ai), before the pipeline was built into Velquaria Studio; those images keep the provider's AI-content label in their metadata.
Screenshots
Screenshots of Velquaria Forge show test data. Text visible inside them that comes from other sources (for example the Python documentation in a research example) belongs to its owners and is shown for illustration.
Trademarks
Product and model names, including Claude Code, Cline, Aider, Continue, Open WebUI, Ollama, llama.cpp, Qwen, Gemma, Mistral, GLM, NVIDIA, Hugging Face, FLUX, Kokoro, Wan, Microsoft, Google, Paddle, Polar, Tailscale and Substack, and all other product, model and company names mentioned on this site, are trademarks of their respective owners. They are used only to describe compatibility and comparisons, and do not imply endorsement.
